Gold prices are struggling near 8-month lows in Indian markets, down ₹12,000 from record highs. Bullion has fallen more than 8% this year as traders focus on a recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic and higher Treasury yields, which make the metal less competitive because it doesn’t offer interest.
